Leanne Marie Hausberg was a 14-year-old girl who disappeared from a street corner in the Bensonhurst neighbourhood in Brooklyn, New York, on the 18th of March 1999 at 9:00am.
Some agencies have listed Leanne as a runaway, however, her family believe that she actually met with foul play. Leanne had written about a relationship with an older man in her diary. It is also possible that Leanne did not leave New York City.
At the time of her disappearance, Leanne was 14 years old, 5″4′ and weighed between 120-150lbs. She had brown hair, brown eyes, pierced ears and a scar on her right cheek.
Leanne was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and blue Timberland work boots. She was also wearing a red and black bubble jacket, and black earrings embedded with white stones and was carrying a black wallet or purse.
Leanne has not been seen or heard from since. She is listed as being Endangered Missing on the International Missing Fandom’s page. If Leanne is still alive today, she would be 37 years old.
