Kaarst John Doe is the name given to an unidentified man who was found deceased at the edge of a forest on the BAB 52 close to Kaarst, Germany. He was found on the 30th of November, 1992.
He had died from multiple gunshot wounds to the neck, which indicated some kind of execution.
John Doe is described as a white male between the ages of 25 and 35. He had a slim/athletic figure, a bald forehead but with short dark brown hair at the top of his head and brown eyes. Inside of his right wrist, he had a 1.5cm long line-shaped scar and investigators determined that he was most likely from Southern or Eastern Europe (Balkan County).
At the time of his death, he was wearing white stockings, a black t-shirt, blue jeans, “Diamond” brand black shoes, a “Razzy” brand brown shirt and a washed light blue denim jacket from the brand “Dallas”, lined with fur.
John Doe was also carrying 60 DM, one French coin, one Spanish coin and an open packet of cigarettes on him when he died.
At the end of July 2022, the call for identification for this John Doe that was normally on the police’s homepage was no longer there. This suggests that Kaarst John Doe may have been identified, however, there is no other information available online to either support or deny this theory.
