Adam, Victim 3 or Victim A is the name given to a young man who was murdered by serial killer Larry Eyler in the early 1980s. His skeletal remains were found on the 18th of October, 1983, in Newton County, Indiana.
Larry Eyler has said that he picked up Adam in Terre Haute, Indiana sometime between the 10th and 16th of July 1983. Larry then said he paid Adam $75 for a sexual act. Larry then drugged Adam and stabbed him to death in a nearby barn.
Adam is described as being a black male, between the ages of 15 and 18, and standing between 5″8′ and 6″2′. He had short black hair and several dental fillings. It has been theorised that Adam may have been native to St.Louis in Missouri or Chicago in Illinois.
Adam was wearing Levi jeans, a red and black belt inscribed with the word “Devil” several times and the belt bucked contained the word “Jeans”, and Hush Puppy boots in a size 10.

Adam’s true identity remains unknown, and whilst his killer may have been brought to justice, Adam still deserves his name back.
